"Out of Asia" or… my year in China

that I am definitely developing a intricate plan for my escape – out of China!

The kids are handing in really shitty homework with no effort the week before their first term exams – so why should I be putting any effort into something that I never intend to make a career out of ? I am busting my butt marking and preparing 4 Level Exams by myself! The administration, as usual, has put little follow-up into addressing current issues in our department AND last night we saw a pollution fog-haze that you could not see an arms-length through…and my co-worker said he could ‘smell’ it. EWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwwww….

It’s also currently really cold in the school because the school keeps all of its doors wide open bringing in the gale-force winds this morning. I forgot to wear a sweater because, silly me, I think being in a building should shelter me from the elements.

So if I book my flight home for tomorrow – I can still make Halloween!
